Game-day,
locked in.
Score is the game-day scoring and referee app of SidelineOS. Built for the way a real ref runs a real game — not the way a tech bro thinks a ref runs a game. Already live at NYF May Madness 2026, with referees, in production.
The scoreboard
in your back pocket.
Score wasn't designed by a product team. It was designed by talking to refs who'd just finished a 14-game day at Rocky Fork Park.
No usernames. No passwords.
Refs enter their field number and a shared league PIN. That's it. No password manager, no SSO friction. You're scoring in 8 seconds.
Horn. Whistle. Halftime.
Forgotten airhorn? Score plays one through the phone speaker. Halftime warning timer fires automatically. Parents and players hear the same signals every game.
Phone dies? Game survives.
Every play auto-saves. Drop your phone in the mud, walk to the equipment tent for a charge, log back in — your score is exactly where you left it.
What Score does.
From PIN to whistle
in eight seconds.
A ref pulls up to a field, types the field number, types the league PIN, and starts scoring. Score knows what game is on that field at that time. Score knows the divisions. Score knows when halftime fires.
- Field-number login — no passwords, no SSO, no friction
- Shared league PIN rotates per season — admin-managed
- Game context auto-loaded from Schedule module
- Tap to score, tap for time, tap for halftime — no menus
Score updates.
Public bracket follows.
Score is wired into Schedule's bracket engine. When a ref ends a game, the bracket advances. Parents in the parking lot refresh and see the next matchup before the team has left the field.
- 3-second push from ref tap to public bracket page
- Auto-advance the winning team to the next round
- Live broadcast scoreboard for venue displays
- Box-score capture per game for season-end stats
Built for the parking lot,
not the office.
Real fields have bad wifi, dropped phones, and dead batteries. Score handles all three without losing a play. Auto-saves to local storage, syncs on reconnect, recovers on relogin.
- Every score auto-saves locally before pushing to server
- Works on bad cell signal — queues and syncs when back
- Crash recovery: relogin and resume from last play
- Multi-ref redundancy: backup ref can pick up mid-game
Six modules. One operating system.

Built in the field.
Not the office.
SidelineOS isn't a thesis. It's a tool I needed. I run a 1,340-athlete program across six divisions. Every module on this page started as a workflow I had to solve before Saturday. The fact that other operators need the same thing is the business — but the design pressure came from the field, not a focus group.
Numbers a competitor can't fake.
SidelineOS runs daily inside an active program. Here's what that program looks like.
